Since he is a widely recognized professional in his field, he is frequently sought after to share his expertise on television and radio programs across the country.
Dr. Samuels understands the struggles of addiction on a personal level as he recovered from his own addictions to heroin and cocaine over 28 years ago. With experiences from his own journey along with running two successful treatment centers, Dr. Samuels uses his knowledge to help many men and women overcome the unique challenges related to overcoming addiction.
Along with Dr. Samuels, The Hills is unique in that most of its staff members also recovered from addiction. This gives The Hills staff members the powerful ability to understand and connect with clients on a personal level. Dr. Samuels values this because he believes sobriety is best achieved when those suffering from addiction work together towards a common purpose.
With hands-on and interactive methods, Dr. Samuels stresses the importance of honesty and accountability when addressing addiction. He understands that addiction is a serious disease, so he comes prepared with the knowledge and experience necessary to battle the disease.
